4 tasks in suggested order
1. If you are a foreign citizen, first check whether you can work directly or whether employment requires a work authorisation and a specific residence right.
Before starting work.

2. Search vacancies through ANOFM/EURES and filter them by occupation and location.
While looking for a job.

CV, qualifications and job/location preferences.
ANOFM updates its vacancies; results should be treated as dynamic data, not fixed canonical content.

3. If you want public employment services, register as a jobseeker with the competent AJOFM/AMOFM.
When you want job-matching, information/counselling or other public employment services.
The AJOFM/AMOFM responsible for your domicile/residence.
Identity document, education/qualification documents, CV and the other documents on the current list.
Registering as a jobseeker is not the same as being granted unemployment benefit.

4. If you lost your job and want unemployment benefit, follow the separate benefit procedure and check whether you meet its conditions.
After the employment relationship ends, if you also want the benefit.
The competent AJOFM/AMOFM.
Documents on the end of employment and contribution periods.
Jobseeker registration and the award of unemployment benefit are separate; the benefit has its own conditions.
