When returning permanently and establishing domicile in Romania.
Where / who?
For a CEI, you may apply at any Serviciu Public Comunitar de Evidență a Persoanelor (SPCEP); for a CIS, apply at the SPCEP for your domicile or residence.
What to prepare?
Civil-status documents, proof of the new domicile and the other documents required for the type of identity document you are requesting.
What to check?
Moving your domicile from abroad back to Romania is different from simply registering a temporary residence.
