I need to clarify my health-insurance status
5 tasks in suggested order

At the start and end of each status that may create or terminate insured status.

As soon as a discrepancy appears or before planned medical treatment.
Use the official CNAS verification service and, if there is a discrepancy, contact the competent health-insurance house.
Identity document, CNP, and evidence of contribution or insured category.
You can check your insured status online. If the result does not match your documents, ask the competent institution to correct the record.

4. If you have no other basis for insurance, check the legal option to pay the contribution and submit the applicable tax declaration before assuming you have coverage.
When the previous basis ends and you want coverage to continue.
ANAF for the declaration/contribution and the health-insurance house for confirmation of insured status.

The amount and coverage period may change; check the rules in force on the filing date.
