When?
After changing domicile, according to the procedure applicable to your identity document.
Where / who?
For a CEI, at any SPCEP; for a CIS, at the SPCEP for your domicile or residence. For a CEI, some domicile updates can be handled electronically without physically replacing the card.
What to prepare?
Identity document and documents proving the new domicile, according to the official service.
What to check?
For the electronic identity card, the address may be updated in the system without issuing a new physical card; the procedure differs from that for other types of documents.
