1. Identify the basis for eligibility for healthcare services: employment, business activity, receipt of benefits, studies, dependent status, or contribution payment.

2. Check the recorded status of your TAJ insurance relationship. If it is incorrect or unresolved, start a status-rectification procedure and provide supporting documents.

Documents proving the insurance relationship, such as an employment contract or another document establishing entitlement, plus identification.

3. If no other basis for entitlement exists, verify the declaration and payment of the healthcare service contribution.
In accordance with current regulations, following the termination of the previous basis for entitlement.

4. Report the start or end of foreign insurance in another EEA country, Switzerland or another covered system within 15 days.

5. Check the TAJ insurance status of each family member separately, because people in the same household may qualify for healthcare on different legal grounds.
When moving, changing jobs, obtaining foreign insurance or changing family status, if this may affect entitlement.
