3 tasks in suggested order
1. If you will stay in Czechia for more than 30 days, check whether you must report your place of stay to the Foreign Police.
Within 30 working days of arrival if the stay will exceed 30 days and your accommodation provider has not reported you.
Foreign Police; an accommodation provider may fulfil the reporting duty for the guest.
Valid travel document or ID and details of your place of stay.
This is the mandatory residence report; it is not the same as the voluntary EU registration certificate.

2. If you wish to stay in the Czech Republic for more than 3 months, you may apply for an EU citizen registration certificate.
At any time during a stay exceeding 3 months.
The OAMP (Department for Asylum and Migration Policy) office of the Ministry of the Interior corresponding to your place of residence; certain remote submission methods are also possible.
Travel document/ID card, photograph, proof of accommodation, and—depending on the purpose of the stay—proof of health insurance.
The certificate is not a condition of an EU citizen’s stay; it is voluntary and can make it easier to prove residence and handle some later formalities.

3. Check which health-insurance system applies after your arrival in Czechia; if you become covered by Czech public health insurance, complete the relevant notification duties.
