1. Sign the apprenticeship contract
After a successful application, the apprenticeship contract is concluded in writing between the apprentice and the training company. If the apprentice is a minor, a legal guardian must also sign.
When?
Before the apprenticeship starts.
Where / who?
At the training company. The company then registers the contract with the Chamber of Commerce apprenticeship office and handles registration with vocational school and social insurance.
What to prepare?
Final certificate from the last school class, evidence of previous training; third-country nationals additionally need the required labour-market authorisation. The company may request further documents.
What to check?
Check the contract before signing and keep a signed copy.
