5 tasks in suggested order
1. Submit an application for a leave of absence/break or a resignation statement in accordance with university regulations, and obtain a document stating the exact date of the status change.
Before the planned change and within the university's deadline.

2. Determine your new insurance coverage basis following the loss or change of student status, and ensure the relevant registration or deregistration is filed.
From the date specified by the university, without undue delay.
Family member acting as the payer, employer, labor office, university, or ZUS/NFZ.

3. Notify the payer of any scholarship, family benefit, or other form of assistance if the change in your studies affects your eligibility.
After the university's decision and before the next payment.

4. If you are not working and want unemployed status, insurance, or labor market services, register with the District Labor Office (PUP).
After losing student status, provided you meet the requirements.

5. When you finish or interrupt your studies, settle your dormitory, library, student ID, and other university services according to the university's rules.
