I want to obtain the Polish parental benefit (świadczenie rodzicielskie)

1. If you do not receive maternity allowance or equivalent remuneration and meet the conditions, apply for the parental benefit.
When?
To have entitlement established from the month of birth, adoption or taking the child into care, submit the application within 3 months. After that deadline, the benefit is due from the month of application.
Where / who?
The competent municipality/center or the electronic channel indicated in the service.
What to prepare?
Details regarding the child, the parent/guardian, and any other benefits being received.
What to check?
The benefit is PLN 1000 per month and is not means-tested. For one child it is generally payable for 52 weeks; the period may be longer in cases specified by law.
