After employment ends, if you wish to be registered as a job seeker.
Labour Office of the Czech Republic (Úřad práce ČR), usually through the Jenda client portal or at the relevant local office.
Documents regarding the terminated employment and data needed to assess the previous insurance period.
Benefit is assessed only while registered as a jobseeker. In general, at least 12 months of pension-insured activity in the previous 2 years is required. From 2026 the phases use rates of 80%, 50% and 40% of the relevant earnings, with duration depending on age.

2. Once registered, keep the Labour Office appointments and report changes that may affect your registration or benefit.
