2. Choose the correct route for a stay over 90 days: a long-term visa for studies or, if eligible, a direct application for long-term residence for studies.

3. Prepare proof of admission or studies, accommodation, funds and other documents required for the chosen application type. Then submit the application using the method specified for your case.
Before the planned long-term stay.
If applying in Czechia: the Ministry of the Interior office responsible for your residence address; if applying abroad: the competent Czech diplomatic mission under the rules for the specific application.

4. After arrival, complete the residence formalities that apply to your type of stay and comply with the conditions of your study stay.
