For a marriage involving foreign documents or another international element, the civil registry office determines during the preparatory procedure which foreign civil-status documents are required and whether additional legalisation, translations or migration-law evidence is needed.
Start the preparatory procedure with the competent civil registry office before making firm plans for the ceremony date.
