I inherited property in Hungary and need to handle the probate procedure
4 tasks in suggested order
1. During preparation of the probate inventory and the probate proceedings, provide the known heir, asset and property details and the documents requested.

2. Provide the notary with the will and relevant documents showing any cross-border element; in an international case, clarify the applicable succession rules.

3. Take part in the notarial probate proceedings; once the probate order becomes final, the property’s ownership and the Land Registry update are settled on that basis.
