1. Repay any Student Finance England overpayment created when you suspend or leave
If applicable: If Student Finance England tells you that a reassessment created an overpayment.
If Student Finance England paid support for a period you were no longer entitled to after suspending or leaving, that amount is treated as an overpayment and is recovered separately from normal income-contingent loan repayments.
After Student Finance England reassesses the award and tells you an overpayment is due.

The earnings threshold for normal student-loan repayments does not protect a leaving/suspension overpayment from recovery. Contact Student Finance England if you cannot pay as requested.
