For relevant new unemployment claims, Jobseeker’s Pay-Related Benefit is earnings-related and depends on your PRSI record. With at least 260 employment contributions it can run for up to 39 weeks: weeks 1–13 are 60% of reckonable average earnings up to €450/week, weeks 14–26 are 55% up to €375, and weeks 27–39 are 50% up to €300. With 104–259 contributions it can run for up to 26 weeks at 50% up to €300.
Apply promptly; the official guidance says a claim should be made within 6 weeks of losing employment.
